What to do when the front of the penis is sensitive

Sensitization of the front of the penis affects the satisfactory sex life of many couples. Dr. Ashish Mittal says that it can decrease the erection of men and can even cause erectile dysfunction. It is also known as balanitis, which is an infection in which a person feels sensitivity in parts of the body, including the initial part of the penis. This condition can be cured with regular care and some medicines. A person who is circumcised is not likely to be affected by balanitis.

There are problems like redness, pain, swelling, itching and discharge when the tip of the penis is sensitive. Keep your penis clean regularly, as discharge, oil and cells can get stuck in the folds of the skin. If the condition worsens, then you feel pain while urinating.

Dr. Ashish Mittal says, the sensitive end of the penis is likely to cause erectile dysfunction. Erections end in men due to pain in the tip of the penis.

Talking about the reasons for the sensitive end of a penis, Dr. Ashish said that genetics can be blamed for this. Infection may also be the reason.

Treatment of the sensitive end of the penis depends on what caused it. Sensitivity can be reduced by regularly washing the front of the penis with soap and clean water. More severe cases of sensitive penis head should be dealt with medical help.

In the case of phimosis, where the upper skin of the penis cannot be retracted, says Dr. Mittal, surgery may be required. This condition affects 3-4% of men and is common.

Not keeping the penis clean can increase the risk of infection. Every time you go to the toilet, clean your penis. Also, being unable to control diabetes can make your penis tip sensitive. The side effects of drugs prescribed for type-2 diabetes can also make your penis head sensitive. The tip of the penis can also be sensitive due to arthritis, which affects the joints and eyes. People who are overweight and suffering from heart, kidney disease or liver disease have a higher risk of being sensitive to the tip of the penis.
